Yuk, a 'boy' card....

OK, I admit it. I have a 'thing' about boys/mens cards. I really struggle for ideas and do not enjoy making them at all. So, when my colleague at work asked me to make 3 cards for her, I held my breath, hoping they were for girlies....... but no, 2 out of 3 are for fellas. Argh! Well, this is the first one and I have to say did manage to put it together relatively painlessly using 'Alfie', one of Sally-Ann's downloads from her fab new store.

Goodie List........
Digi Stamps: 'Alfie with Football' from Digi Stamp Boutique, computer sentiment.
Paper: Basic Grey - Granola.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Copics.
Embellishments: Nestabilities 'Labels 1', buttons and embroidery thread from stash.

Before I go, I just wanted to let you know that Tracy at Dies to Die For has now got the new Penny Black in stock. Some are clear sets, some are wood mounted, ALL are gorgeous! Hop over now and take a look.... go on, you know you want to!

Have a brilliant weekend my lovelies!

This is fab stacey and perfect for a male (I also don't like doing mens cards, I really struggle)! I always find the Granola and Archaic BG papers work so well for mens cards! Love the finishing touch of the buttons (another fab altenative to flowers for mens cards)! Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Vicky x

Know what you mean about men's card, I lost my MOJO last week, having to make an Anniversary card for my Hubby. This card is just Ace, so manly, did I mention that Father's day is looming EK!!! Hugs Avril xx

Stacey this is a fab card and love the colours you have used. I have now decided I make the male cards I like to take away the stress which doesn't really help if someone wants you to make a card!

very boyish ;) i generally dislike doing men's cards. esp if they don't have a hobby or like sport :( they tend to end up with generic images like cakes and animals

i got the love birds collection from the same digi-shop. not had chance to use them yet, but i think i'm hooked on digi stamps?!
