Copic Colour Challenge 40

Just a VERY quick one from me today as I am sneakily posting at work again - oops! Am stupidly behind with everything at the moment as we have had about 8 swimming filled weekends on the bounce and, as this is when I do the majority of my crafting, I'm now struggling to keep up!

Anyway, enough of my whining. Here is my card for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge. The colours this week are RV23, YG06 and YR04 and we are sponsored by the super-dooper InStyle Stamps.

I am amazed this card looks this neat actually as I made it in 40 minutes last night before bed! Can't wait until the weekend when I can have a proper craft fest!

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Sarah' by InStyle.
Paper: 'Tutti Frutti' by Zoe Pearn, Sweet Shoppe Designs.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Gems from stash.

Right gotta dash - it's time for spinning!

Anyone for Anya - Getting Round to It

A flying post from me today I'm afraid as I'm actually posting this on Saturday, just before we fly out of the door to another 2 swimming competitions! This weekend, we will be taking in the (probably wet and windy) sights of Croydon, Dartford and Enfield - lucky us eh?! M3 and M25.... in this weather! ARGH!

Anyone, enough waffling. I want to share with you my DT card for this weeks Anyone for Anya? challenge. The theme is 'Getting Round to It' and we want you to use as many round things on your card as possible. We are sponsored by Paper & Pictures this week so make sure you join in!

Do you think I used enough round stuff? Round nesties, round gems, round button, round spots on my ribbon.... I tried really hard!

Goodie List........
Digi Stamps: 'Alice Anya' by The Greeting Farm.
Digi Paper: 'A Colorful Christmas' from Designer Digitals.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Nesties, button, ribbon and gems from stash.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and that the sun is shining wherever you are.

P.S. Thanks so much to all of you who visit my blog regularly and leave such lovely comments. I'm aware I've been a terrible blogging buddy lately, so I really appreciate each and every one of you for sticking by me ~♥~

Copic Colour Challenge 39

Sorry I'm a little late in posting this weeks Copic Colour Challenge card. I couldn't get my act together this morning to schedule it and unfortunately, I was actually working at work today! Work is such a pain, don't you think?! Ah well, at least it keeps stash on the table ;o)

The colour combo this week is rather a bold one - G05, R29 and Y08. Unfortunately, I had a little bit of trouble with it so I was pretty pleased when I was able to knock something together that I wasn't totally appalled by!

I couldn't find any ribbon in my stash to match my card so I got colouring some plain white satin ribbon with my Copic markers. Works a treat but it doesn't half make the ribbon go crunchy! Also attempted a bit of sponging around the image and tried to use the Flowersoft again.... with varying success!

Goodie List........
Stamps: Nora by CC Designs, in stock at Dies to Die For.
Paper: 'Fairy Lights' by Pink Petticoat.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: MS BP Punched strip (thanks Sheila!), ribbon and button from stash.

Anyway, I'm off to do a spot of crafting now as the laptop is playing havoc with the internet connection and Ali is struggling to play his new Call of Duty game online!

Anyone for Anya? Recipe Time!

Hello lovely people. I honestly thought that life was going to calm down this week and that I would be starting to get more time..... not a chance! With one thing or another, it has been manic again all week. Oh well, maybe next week?!

Anyway, enough whining from me..... you want to check out my Anyone for Anya DT card don't you?! This week, it is recipe time and we are challenging you to use 3 papers, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon/bow. Easy huh?! We are also sponsored by the very wonderful Tracy from Dies to Die For this week - remember you have to be in it to win it!

You may be forgiven for thinking that I have cheated this week, but I promise that this is a TGF image! I do fear I should have left a little bit of white in her tail though.... must remember that next time I colour her in!

Goodie List........
Digi Stamps: The Greeting Farm.
Paper: 'Tis the Season by Bo Bunny.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Stickles, ribbon and buttons from stash.

Before I go, I need to pick your brains about something..... snowy Flower Soft. I bought some this week after seeing loads of cards 'snowed up' with it. Could I get it to look any cop on this card? Nope. I had to scratch it off and chuck it in the bin. Did it go wrong because I was covering piddley areas or it is just a pain in the bum to use?! Answers on the back of a postcard please...... or to save postage, the comments box below is fine to use too! ☺

Hope you have a lovely Sunday and that you are able to join in with AFA? this week!

Copic Colour Challenge 38

How can it be Wednesday already?! Is it just me or it time literally flying past at the moment? I'm very lucky today as I have the day off and I am going down to Bournemouth with my family to visit my Great Aunt who has not been too well recently. Looking forward to a Brady family expedition. We don't get to do many these days, so they are always a treat when they do happen!

Anyway, better get back to business... I have a new card to share with you today! This is my DT card for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge. The colour combo is a bold one (R85, G02, B02) and was chosen by me, so apologies if you have trouble with it!

Loving these papers. They are just my kind of colours and they go perfectly with the colour combo I picked. Amazing what you can do when you don't actually think about it isn't it?
