Anyone for Anya? Recipe Time!

Hello lovely people. I honestly thought that life was going to calm down this week and that I would be starting to get more time..... not a chance! With one thing or another, it has been manic again all week. Oh well, maybe next week?!

Anyway, enough whining from me..... you want to check out my Anyone for Anya DT card don't you?! This week, it is recipe time and we are challenging you to use 3 papers, 2 buttons and 1 ribbon/bow. Easy huh?! We are also sponsored by the very wonderful Tracy from Dies to Die For this week - remember you have to be in it to win it!

You may be forgiven for thinking that I have cheated this week, but I promise that this is a TGF image! I do fear I should have left a little bit of white in her tail though.... must remember that next time I colour her in!

Goodie List........
Digi Stamps: The Greeting Farm.
Paper: 'Tis the Season by Bo Bunny.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Stickles, ribbon and buttons from stash.

Before I go, I need to pick your brains about something..... snowy Flower Soft. I bought some this week after seeing loads of cards 'snowed up' with it. Could I get it to look any cop on this card? Nope. I had to scratch it off and chuck it in the bin. Did it go wrong because I was covering piddley areas or it is just a pain in the bum to use?! Answers on the back of a postcard please...... or to save postage, the comments box below is fine to use too! ☺

Hope you have a lovely Sunday and that you are able to join in with AFA? this week!

Copic Colour Challenge 38

How can it be Wednesday already?! Is it just me or it time literally flying past at the moment? I'm very lucky today as I have the day off and I am going down to Bournemouth with my family to visit my Great Aunt who has not been too well recently. Looking forward to a Brady family expedition. We don't get to do many these days, so they are always a treat when they do happen!

Anyway, better get back to business... I have a new card to share with you today! This is my DT card for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge. The colour combo is a bold one (R85, G02, B02) and was chosen by me, so apologies if you have trouble with it!

Loving these papers. They are just my kind of colours and they go perfectly with the colour combo I picked. Amazing what you can do when you don't actually think about it isn't it?

I just lurve this weeks theme at Anyone for Anya...... we are challenging you to make a patriotic card using the colours of your nation! Cool huh?!

So here is my offering. Pretty pleased with how it turned out actually. I suppose it helps that I am totally in love with this new Pink Petticoat 'Fairy Light' kit! It's is just so gorgeous, that I have decided that I am going to make all of my 'bulk' christmas cards from it this year! Now.... the eagle-eyed among you will notice that I have included some snowflakes on my card. IRL, these are extremely sparkly. But, from the photo......? Not so much! As I would like to enter this card in to this weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge where the theme is 'Glitter and Sparkle', I thought that I had better prove that there really is some glitter and sparkle on my card! So, for those interested, please click on the close up below where you should see a tiny bit of sparkle!

Copic Colour Challenge 37

Hey folks, so sorry I've not been around much lately. We went away to Sheffield for a swimming competition this weekend as it has put me all behind with everything! Luckily though, I have just about squeezed in enough time to make my card for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge. The colours this week are E33, R20 and YG06. We are very proud to say that, this week, we are sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! For me, that was the perfect excuse to ink this little cutie up!

Isn't she the bestest?! Apologies for the terrible picture though. This one was taken this morning with my daylight lamp and a lot of Paintshop enhancement. Just not the same as proper daylight though is it? With all these dark morning and evenings, I'm a bit limited for good photo opportunities.... going to have to start taking everything to work I think so that I can get snappy at lunchtime!

Goodie List........
Stamps: Francesca by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, in stock at Dies to Die For.
Sentiment: Circle Postmark Sentiments by Whimsy
Cardstock: Bazzill.
Paper: We R Memory Keepers.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Nestabilities, gems, ribbon and button from stash.

Hope you can join us this week!

Winner of My Whimsy Candy!

We have sadly come to the end of the latest Whimsy blog hop. However, that also means that it is time for me to announce who the winner of my 'spare' Whimsy stamp is!

To be extra fair, I turned to the wonderful random.org and they chose..........

And if I have counted right, that makes the winner Julie the Foxy English Crafter! How appropriate that Julie will be getting a foxy Whimsy stamp?!

Congrats Julie! Drop me an email with details of your address and I will get your new stamp in the post to you.
