Copic Colour Challenge 53

Hello peeps. It's going to be a super quick one from me tonight I'm afraid as I've had a day full of meetings and I am utterly cream crackered. I just want to share with you the card I made for this weeks Copic Colour Challenge. We're sponsored by Stretch n Bubbles and the DT got to play with some of their images. This little birdie was perfect for this weeks colours - YG03, C7 and Y17.

I'm currently making a bag for my friends birthday present so I added a bit of stitching to this card whilst my little Janome was out. Still love the effect it gives. Because of the stitching, I can also add this card into this weeks challenge over at Stamp with Fun.

Goodie List........
Stamps: Stretch n Bubbles.
Paper: Pink Petticoat free kit.
Copic Markers: YG03, YG63, YG67, Y15, Y17, Y21, C3, C5, C7.

OK, thats all from me today. I'll be hopping in to my lovely bed soon! Oh well, only 1 more day at work until I have 3 days off! Woo-hoo!

Crazy 4 Challenges

Crazy 4 Challenges is a new challenge for me but I'm really glad I found it because I loved this weeks sketch!

This is one of the 8 cards I made over the weekend.... I tell you, I've never been so organised! I really adore these papers but don't tend to use them much as I find them quite tricky to work with. Glad I was brave this time though as I love how this one turned out!

Goodie List........
Stamps: Birthday Anya, in stock here at Dies to Die For.
Paper: 'Everyday' by American Crafts.
Copic Markers: E00, E11, E50, R20, R22, R32, YG03, YG63, YG67, B00, B02, B05, Y17, Y21, YR23, W1, W3, W5, W7.
Tools & Embellishments: Gems from stash.

Thanks for stopping by today and for any lovely comments you may leave. Hope your Monday is going well!

Anyone for Anya - Something Completely Different.....

Thanks for popping by today - it's Anyone for Anya? challenge time! This week, we are sponsored by the splendiferous Tracy from Dies to Die For and we are challenging you to create something completely different. By that we mean that we want you to make something you wouldn't normal make or using a technique or a style that you wouldn't normally use. You get the idea, right? For my card, I decided to make an unorthadox RSVP card for my best friends wedding. Her colours are green so I thought this colour scheme might be appropriate......

For this challenge, I decided to drag out one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders and used it instead of my beloved design papers. I also tried to produced a CAS card. I say tried as I've not done it very well! I have lost count of the amount of times I ripped that green panel off and repositioned it because it was wonky. The thing about CAS cards is that they have to be perfect.... far too much pressure for me! I think I'm safer when there are more layers to distract the eye from general wonkiness!

Goodie List........
Digi Stamp: The Greeting Farm.
Copic Markers: E00, E11, E33, E43, E47, E49, E50, R20, R22, R32, G21, G85, G99, Y21, YG23, W1, W3, W5, W7.
Tools & Embellishments: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, ribbon and button from stash.

BTW, I can safely say the Thai last night was utterly delish. The best thing I had was some kind of chicken peanut curry thing {with a name I've forgotten already} which was totally to die for..... making my mouth water just thinking about it!

Right, I'm going to grab a coffee and then do a bit of blog hopping! Happy Sunday lovely ladies!

Crikey, I'll be spoiling you all today you know. This is going to be the first of 2 posts! Almost unheard of for me! I'm more of a 'pace yourself' kinda gal!

Such a pretty little combo and pretty easy to work with, which is always nice! We're also sponsored by InStyle, which would explain this super cute image....!

Be My Valentine....

I finally made an easel card! I've been threatening to do this for months and eventually got round to it on Saturday morning when I made Ali's Valentines card! Completely love the effect and can't believe how easy it is.... expect to see more of these on a blog near you very shortly!

I pulled out my favorite papers from Pink Petticoat and am so pleased with how it turned out. I think it is nice and lovey-dovey whilst still being a little bit masculine. Well, Ali liked it anyway!

This card is also eligible for a few challenges..........

Cute Card Thursday - In the Name of Love.
Creative Card Crew - Valentines.

Thanks for stopping by today. I think I am slowly getting myself organised and am gradually making my way around all your lovely blogs to leave some nice comments! I'll get there in the end, I promise!

Anyone for Anya? Flower Power

Happy Valentines Day! Hope you are all enjoying the weekend and that you have been spoilt rotten by your loved ones. I was lucky enough to receive a very large bunch of red, white, dark pink and light pink roses. He's a lovely boy, isn't he?! Especially as I abandoned him last night to go to a roller disco with my girlies. It was so much fun and I was one of the only ones NOT to fall over! Result! Lets just say, vodka, wine and wheels don't generally mix well! ☺

As it is Sunday, it is time for another Anyone for Anya? challenge! This week we are sponsored by Stempelstudio and the theme is flower power! Nice and easy, there is no excuse for you all not to join us this week!

I picked up this paper pad in Hobbycraft last Sunday and I've been dying to attack it all week! I flipped this weeks sketch at Sketch Saturday 180 degrees and used that for the layout. I changed it a little bit so I hope it still qualifies for the challenge.

Goodie List........
Stamps: Miss Anya 'Love', in stock at Dies to Die For.
Paper: 'Just Chillin' by Making Memories.
Copic Colours: E00, E11, E33, E50, V12, V15, V17, R20, R22, R32, Y21, YG23.
Tools & Embellishments: Ribbon and gems from stash.

I have the day to myself today so I am off to do some more crafting. Have a great day!

Copic Colour Challenge 51

Morning all. Well, this post is officially a day late but I've been having all sorts of problems with the PC. We are in the process of repairing my (high spec but unstable!) PC and replacing Ali's older and slower one which we have been using for the last couple of years. We spent ages transferring everything off the old one and putting it on the external hard drive. We then plugged in the freshly repaired machine and...... nothing! Flaming techonology! Anyway, after much faffing, the old set up is back, the other PC is back in the repair shop and this post is a day overdue! Oh well, you can't win them all, can you?!

This weeks colour combo at Copic Colour Challange was a total joy to work with - I loved every minute of it. I suppose it also helps that the layout I used from this weeks Friday Sketchers totally ROCKS too!

I finally got round to inking up this Kraftin' Kimmie image - isn't she the cutest?! I also got to play with some of the new Bo Bunny paper from the 'Love Bandit' range. Tracy at Dies to Die For has all of these stamps and papers in so make sure you hop over and check them out ☺

Goodie List........
Stamps: Drucilla by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, in stock at Dies to Die For.
Paper: Love Bandit by Bo Bunny, in stock at Dies to Die For.
Copic Colours: E00, E11, E43, E47, E49, E50, R29, R35, R59, RV23, RV35, B12, W1, W3, W5, W7.
Tools & Embellishments: Ribbon and gems from stash.

I'm also going to enter this one in to the Stamp with Fun challenge as the theme this week is hearts. I think I have a few of them on this lovely paper so I should be covered!

Hope you are all having a good week and are all looking forward to the weekend.

Challenge Combining.....

I always feel a bit of a cheat when I do this, but I am going to enter todays card in to 6 challenges - Papertake, Creative Card Crew, Paperplay, Charisma Cardz, Stamp Something and Crazy 4 Challenges! All of these challenges involve hearts, love or Valentines in some way, so I hope my card fits the bill!

I went crazy with my metal ruler for this one and distressed the heck out of my papers! Not something I do often, but I really like how it turned out.

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Valentine Flopsey' by MFT, on special offer at Dies to Die For.
Paper: Sweet Shoppe Designs.
Copic Colours: E29, E31, E33, E35, E37, E50, E51, R35, R37, R59, W1, W3, W5, W7.
Tools & Embellishments: Ribbon from stash.

A Late Night AFA....

I swear. I'm losing the plot. I'm floating around in the bath, reflecting on the week that was and the week that is going to be, when I suddently realise that it is 10:30pm on a Sunday night and I still haven't posted my DT card for this weeks Anyone for Anya challenge! Truly, I've been a total doofus lately, I have no idea where my brain is....!

This week over at Anyone For Anya? we are sponsored by Hobbystempels who have very generously offered up a gorgeous set of Basic Grey papers and some lovely stamps. To be in with a shot of winning, all you need to do is make something that is good enough to eat! That's right, we want to see all of you food inspired colour combos.... strawberries and cream..... lemon and lime..... you get the idea, right?!

Hopefully you can tell from this card that I went for mint choc chip as my yummy inspiration! The colours aren't brilliantly accurate from this picture though as, try as I might, the light is so rubbish at the moment, I just can't get decent pictures. Although, I have no idea what I would do without the editing help of Paint Shop Pro!

Those eagle-eyed crafters among you will probably notice that I followed this weeks sketch over at Sketch Saturday. Always love their sketches! I'm also entering this one in to the 'Spots and Dots' challenge over at Cute Card Thursday.

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Savannah' by TGF, in stock at DTDT.
Paper: 'Abbey Road' by MME, in stock at DTDF.
Copic Colours: E00, E11, E43, E47, E49, E50, R20, R22, YG03, YG63, YG67, BG15, BG23, BG49 in stock at DTDF.
Tools & Embellishments: Brads, Primas gems from stash.

I did a lovely bit of shopping today. Took a trip to the local outlet village, grabbed a Starbucks enroute and picked up two £50 jumpers for £10 each! And they make me look slim - shock horror! Even better, I then went into The Paper Mill shop and got charged {wrongly, I assume!} half price on the whole set of Cosmo Cricket 'Everafter' papers! Genius, huh?!

Okey dokey, seeing as it is pretty much past my bedtime and I have to work tomorrow, I guess I had better skiddaddle.

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend - sweet dreams my friends ♥

Copic Colour Challenge 50

Whoops, another flying post from me today! It's week 50 over at the Copic Colour Challenge and we have a chocolately combo for you this week - E18, E42, E77. I was completely useless and only had one of these colours but hopefully, what I've used is somewhere close enough that you won't notice the difference. If I hadn't already told you that is......!

I did something a bit weird with this layout but it didn't really photo well. The bit where the wavy line runs is actually a little narrower than the base below.... if you get what I mean. It looks better (and less wonky!) in real life anyway ☺.

I just love this image. It is from part of a rather large set from Our Craft Lounge which Tracy has on special offer at the moment. It's so cute and you could use it for some really fun cards.

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Pat the Dog' by Our Craft Lounge, on sale at Dies to Die For.
Paper: Cupids Confectionary by Sweet Shoppe Designs.
Copic Colours: E29, E31, E33, E35, E37, E43, E51, R32, R35, R37, R59.
Tools & Embellishments: Nestabilities, EK Success Punch, Martha Stewart Bakers Twine, button from stash.

Hope you are having a lovely day!

Colour Create

A real quick post from me today folks, I'm at work, being naughty and posting on my blog. Can you tell that my manager's room is a whole floor away from my office?!

Over the weekend, I got chance to play with some fab stamps that my lovely DTDF DT boss Tracy sent me. As soon as I saw this little fella, I just knew I had to make a little bookmark. Yep, he's a bookworm, just like me!

Isn't he a cutie?! I decided that, coupled with this fab Zoe Pearn paper, he would be perfect for this weeks challenge over at Colour Create - Pink, Blue, White and Silver. Horrendous picture, I know but I snapped it as I ran out of the door this morning!

Goodie List........
Stamps: Bookworm by High Hopes, in stock at Dies to Die For.
Digital Paper: Irresistible by Zoe Pearn, Sweet Shoppe Designs.
Copic Colours: B00, B02, B12, R35, R37, R81, R83, R85, W1, W3, W5, W7.
Tools & Embellishments: Eyelet and embroidery thread from stash.

That's it from me. See you tomorrow ☺
