Hop over to the Redonkulous blog to check out some fantastic digi images and read more about me (eek, profile pic...) and the other ladies selected for the DT.

A Little Bit of News....

Happy Everything!
Honestly, I really need Photoshop back! I am so fed up with not being able to edit my pictures properly. This one took hours of fiddling with 2 online programs. If only I could remember which box I packed Photoshop in back in November.... probably one of the pile still taped up in the spare room! Oh well, it's another project for the Easter break :o)
Anyway, I had a good old crafty play at the weekend and produced this bright and cheerful creation. I've just brought some Neenah cardstock and I really like how it colours up. I coloured up this pretty little lady in about 10 minutes flat!
I'm really struggling adding embellies to my cards at the moment. I can get the layout sorted but am really struggling to add the extra details that brings a card to life. I'm really interested how you all go about this... what are your top tips?
Anyway, a few more challenges ticked off....
* Tiddly Inks - Birthday Bash (I hope this card is suitable - 'Happy Everything' seems to include birthday!).
* Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes.
* Stampin for the Weekend - Anything Goes.
* Sweet Stampin Challenge - Anything Goes.
* Paperplay - Spring Colours.
* Crafty Catz - Spring is in the Air.
* Creative Card Crew - Spring.

Hey, Hey!
Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying this amazing weather. I'm absolutely loving finally having a garden to play in - love the new house! Never thought I'd enjoy pottering in the garden, but I actually do... It's a miracle. I've even planted up some seeds in my new propagator so that I get my herb garden started - can't wait for them to grow :o).
Well, when I haven't been pottering, I've been crafting. Here is a little something I created during the week - hoping you like it...
Isn't this Mo image fab?! Love the whole series of these, they're just such a joy to colour. I've captured a few challenges here too...
My Mums Craft Shop - Digi Images.
Papertake - Bingo (Die Cuts, Free, Glitter).
Mo's Challenge Blog - Bling it On.
Anyway, it's back to work tomorrow so I'm going to skidaddle so that I can squeeze in more fun before bedtime!
Thanks for dropping by,

More Rediscovered Stash
Whilst flicking through my stamp folder, I spotted this lovely Greeting Farm Miss Anya. I can't believe that I have neglected all this stash for so long!
I've also managed to use some of this fab Basic Grey 'Granola' paper which I've had for years. I'm just gutted that my picture is so blinking awful! You can't even see the vellum on the big butterfly. I really need to get the PC sorted... grr!
I'm going for a few challenges for this one......
Allsorts - 3 in a Row (Butterflies and gems).
Basic Grey Challenges - Girlie (Granola DP).
Die-Ing for a Challenge - Brown & Blue (I've used MFT Die-Namics, available from DTDF).
Hope you are having a fab week,

Oldies but Goodies
One of the advantages of having a year off crafting is that all your old stash becomes new again! I've had this Pink Cat Studio image for about 3 years and I forgot how cute it was :o)
This is the card I gave to my Mum today, along with a giant orchid that she had been lusting after for ages! We went out for a girlie day, had a poke around some retro shops and then had afternoon tea... and a gossip! It was fab.
Apologies for the dodgy picture. We still haven't set up the proper PC. Consequently, I'm using online photo editing packages and they just don't have a patch on my beloved Photoshop!
I am going to enter this card in to a few challenges though......
My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges - "Mums".
Creative Inspirations - "Something for Mums".
Totally Gorjuss - "Spring" - Nothing says spring more to me than this colour combo :o)
Paper Sundaes - "Photo Inspiration".
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

First Card for a Year!
Well, I finally made a card. It only took me a year! Despite the fact I'd completely forgotten how to colour and couldn't remember all my Copic combos, I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out!
Now, as this is a pretty girly card, I think I am safe to enter this card in to this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge.
Goodie List........
Stamps: "Charlotte" by Kraftin' Kimmie, "Talk Loud" by The Greeting Farm.
Paper: DCWV - Mango Frost.
Copic Markers: E00, E11, E29, E31, E33, E35, E37, E50, R81, R83, R85, YG03, YG63, YG67, YR07, YR23, YR68, Y15, Y21, BG10, BG15, BG23, BG49, W1, W3, W5, W7.

Remember Me?!
Wow. I cannot believe it has been a year since I last logged on and posted to my poor little neglected blog! So much has happened in the past year and so much has changed, I just don't know where to begin.
First things first though..... how are you all? I've so missed seeing your beautiful creations every day and checking in with what is going on in your lives. So, what's the gossip?! What have I missed?! I need updates!!!
I bet some of you are wondering where I have been. Well, it all started this time last year when I applied for a promotion at work which I never thought I'd get. Weirdly, I got the job! Whilst this was (and still is) great news, it has consumed my life ever since as we have been in the middle of an enormous restructure of the entire university and I've had to work silly hours just to keep my head above water. Also, as I now hold a management position and have a team to look after, I feel mega responsible for everyone and everything. Consequently, very little time has been left for crafting :o(
On top of that, Alistair also changed jobs.
On top of that, we both had to buy new cars.
On top of that, I turned 30 (eek!).
On top of that...... we decided to make our lives even harder by buying our own house! It was a very quick 6 week turnaround and we moved in just before Christmas. We absolutely love our new home, but my absolute favourite part is that I now have my very own craft room! It is built on the side of the house and was previously used as an office. NOT ANY MORE!!! It is ideal for me as it has kitchen cupboards on the walls which most of my stash fits in to and I managed to find a fab desk on ebay for £10 to accommodate the rest. It is my own piece of heaven and I can't help but smile when I'm sat in there.
My fab new room was the final shove I needed to rekindle my crafting obsession. I was missing crafting more and more as the months went by and I was craving the escapism and relaxation it gave me. So, that's how I've come to find myself here on a Saturday night, tapping away on my netbook, updating my lonely little blog!
However, given that I've had a year away from my beloved crafting, I need a crash course from you guys now!!! So.... Who are the hot new stamp/digi designers? Who is producing the funkiest papers now? Are Nestabilities up to 'Labels 85' yet??
Can't wait to get back in touch with you all. And you never know, I might even have a card to share in the near future....!!!
