Happy Everything!

Honestly, I really need Photoshop back! I am so fed up with not being able to edit my pictures properly. This one took hours of fiddling with 2 online programs. If only I could remember which box I packed Photoshop in back in November.... probably one of the pile still taped up in the spare room! Oh well, it's another project for the Easter break :o)

Anyway, I had a good old crafty play at the weekend and produced this bright and cheerful creation. I've just brought some Neenah cardstock and I really like how it colours up. I coloured up this pretty little lady in about 10 minutes flat!

I'm really struggling adding embellies to my cards at the moment. I can get the layout sorted but am really struggling to add the extra details that brings a card to life. I'm really interested how you all go about this... what are your top tips?

Anyway, a few more challenges ticked off....

* Tiddly Inks - Birthday Bash (I hope this card is suitable - 'Happy Everything' seems to include birthday!).
* Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes.
* Stampin for the Weekend - Anything Goes.
* Sweet Stampin Challenge - Anything Goes.
* Paperplay - Spring Colours.
* Crafty Catz - Spring is in the Air.
* Creative Card Crew - Spring.

It looks mighty fine from where I'm standing! I say that when a card's so good it doesn't need any extra icing!(I'm rubbish at loading my cards anyway!)CAS is good, have you seen the price of postage when they are too thick lol!.x(Talking waffle, sorry,it's been a long day!)

Hiya! No need for extras on this card, it's fab as it is! I'm probably the wrong person to ask anyways, I like the simple look!
I'm glad you're with me on MFT addictions, have you seen the start of their Teasers?! I want it all and it's only day 1 - there's a Die'namics set of wine and cocktail glasses!!! Eeep!! Who needs money anyway?!
I think your piccies are fine, I know what you mean though when you can't get them right, I got the free trial of Photoshop, Worst. Idea. Ever. Now I want to keep it and it's 60 odd quid! I hope you find yours soon though!
And going onto your previous question about what's new, we also moved house, in october and I now have a craft room too!! It's the best ever isn't it?! I find myself just sat at the desk, looking at my stuff and grinning, that's normal right?! ;-)
Oh and another thing (sorry this is so long!) the Copic course was a day workshop - in Southampton! At the Hilton I think, I was going to ask you but you weren't blogging at the time and I wasn't sure if you'd ditched your Copics! Never! Let me know if you want the details!
There, I'm done now!

Love Beth xx

I think you've got the embellies just right on this, as your image is so beautifully coloured. I'll confess to being completely OTT with flowers and ribbon, so I'm the worst person to give you advice! Thank you for sharing your lovely card with us at Sweet Stampin' this week. Tracey x

This is gorgeous Stacey! I love the bright colours! I totally hear you re embellishing... It takes me hours to finish a card... I play around for ages trying to get them to look right! I do often find it easier to follow a sketch though, like the ones at Sketch Saturday or Deconstructing Jen as they often have places for embellies.

Thanks so much for playing along with us at Tiddly Inks!
