Papertake Weekly - Sketch #22

Hi folks! Told you I would be back soon, didn't I?! I'm here to share with you another from the pile of cards that I made yesterday. This one is for this weeks Papertake challenge, a fabbydoodle sketch by Dawny P.

Isn't this image just adorable?! It is by the awesomely talented Mo. If you haven't visited Mo's Digital Pencil yet, you really need to ASAP. You will be blown away by the gorgeousness of her work. So varied too, definately something for everyones taste. Not sure I have done her masterpiece justice with my patchy colouring though....!

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'End of Summer' from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Paper: October Afternoon.
Cardstock: Core'dinations.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Embellishments: Ribbon, button and embroidery thread from stash.

Hope you are all having lots of Bank Holiday fun!

Hi Stacey,
I've just stumbled across your blog and I love your cards! Also, while I'm here, I just wanted to let you know about a new challenge starting soon. It's called Crafty Calendar Challenge and there is a Design Team Call going on there at the moment, if you're interested. :)

Hi again Stacey, just seen that you asked me about the colours I use to do my darker skin tones. I have to say that I'm still very much experimenting and don't think I've arrived at my final choices yet but the main colour I use is Sand E33, for my darker tones I've tried Sepia E37 or Burnt Umber E29. Probably prefering the E29 at the moment. I've also tried using Chamois E35 as a mid tone. Hope this helps but as I say I'm still experimenting. Have a good weekend.
