Copic Colour Challenge #47

Oh no....just as we thought it was clearing off, we've got yet more flaming snow! Soooo sick of it now! I have zero levels of balance and so getting about is a very risky affair. It might make for pretty Christmas cards, but I now think that is where it should stay!

Anyway, enough of my whining. On to this weeks Copic Colour Challenge! The colours this week are particularly fabulous - B97, YG07 and W5. Total corker huh?! We are also sponsored by the wonderful Whimsy stamps and so my card for this weeks challenge uses some of my Whimsy DT stash!

I used one of the fabulous new carousel images designed by Crissy Armstrong and added lots of Stickles for a little more bling ☺

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Cool Ride' by Whimsy Stamps.
Paper: Designer Digitals.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Nesties and Stickles.

Hope you are well and thank you for popping by today!

Anyone for Anya - Getting Round to It

A flying post from me today I'm afraid as I'm actually posting this on Saturday, just before we fly out of the door to another 2 swimming competitions! This weekend, we will be taking in the (probably wet and windy) sights of Croydon, Dartford and Enfield - lucky us eh?! M3 and M25.... in this weather! ARGH!

Anyone, enough waffling. I want to share with you my DT card for this weeks Anyone for Anya? challenge. The theme is 'Getting Round to It' and we want you to use as many round things on your card as possible. We are sponsored by Paper & Pictures this week so make sure you join in!

Do you think I used enough round stuff? Round nesties, round gems, round button, round spots on my ribbon.... I tried really hard!

Goodie List........
Digi Stamps: 'Alice Anya' by The Greeting Farm.
Digi Paper: 'A Colorful Christmas' from Designer Digitals.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Nesties, button, ribbon and gems from stash.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and that the sun is shining wherever you are.

P.S. Thanks so much to all of you who visit my blog regularly and leave such lovely comments. I'm aware I've been a terrible blogging buddy lately, so I really appreciate each and every one of you for sticking by me ~♥~

Whimsy Blog Hop!

Guess what's happening today?! That's right, a Whimsy blog hop! If you've found your way here from Denise's blog, keep reading. If not, you are going to want to start back at Vicki's blog, right at the beginning, so that you don't miss out on any of the Whimsy fabulousness on display!

Whimsy have so many things to be cheerful about at the moment..... a new look website, a successful challenge blog and a brand spanking new release! To celebrate, not only has Denise organised this hop, she is also offering up some delicious candy to one lucky winner. The candy is hidden on one of the DT's blogs so make sure you leave some love for each DT member to tell them how much you love their blog hop creation - you never know when you will get lucky, do you?! As an extra special little bonus, when the hop finishes on Thursday 8 October, I will select one person from all those who comment on this post, and they will receive the card below which I made especially for this hop.

Goodie List........
Stamps:
Whimsy 'Dog & Sign', Whimsy 'Ruff Day' Sentiments - available from Monday 5 October.
Digital Paper: Mindy Terasawa 'Celebrate Good Times'.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Gems, ribbon and button from stash.

Hope you like my blog hop offering! To continue the fun, please hop on over to my teamie Erin's blog to check out her wonderful creations!

Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Wonder Why we All Picked Rain?!

As you have probably spotted from some of my DTDF DT mates blogs, the new Miss Anya's have well and truly arrived! Tracy did have some in stock but I'm not sure now...... Best visit the lovely Dies To Die For store to find out hadn't you?!

There is a bit of a running DTDF DT joke about this image. Without any prior discussion, we all chose 'Miss Rain' to use first! Could it be that she is gorgeous?! Or is it more to do with the awful weather at the moment?!

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Rain, Snow & Shine' by The Greeting Farm - from Dies to Die For
Sentiment: 'Sassy Sayings' by My Favorite Things
Digital Paper: Designer Digitals.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Copics.
Embellishments & Tools: Nestabilities, flower and button from stash.

Gotta dash, still not done my morning Wii Fit session yet!

3 Challenges in 1

It is the last day of my holiday... boo hiss. Ali had to go back this morning and he was totally in denial. At 8.15am, he was still sat in front of Sky Sports News in his pants!

Todays post is a bit of a rarity for me as I've managed to combine 3 challenges in 1 card! Check me out! This card is made to this weeks Friday Sketchers sketch, is in pastel colours so satisfies the criteria over at Papertake Weekly AND as I used my Nesties, I can also enter it into the A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge as I've used diecuts! Woo-hoo!

Please don't look at the skin too closely as my E51 ran out half way through colouring! I need to replace it but think I am going to go for a slightly different shade as Tilda does currently look like she has spent too long on a sunbed! I've spotted that most of you use E00 for your base skin tone but Cult Pens (where I get my Copics) is out of stock so I was wondering if there were any good alternatives you'd found in the Ciao variety. What do you think of E50?

BTW I am totally loving this paper/kit download. I think it is by the same designer that Imaginisce use but please don't quote me on that! Because it is so doodley, I think it would be a brilliant cover to a notebook.... watch this space!

Goodie List........
Stamps: Magnolia.
Digital Paper: Smilin' at Me by Mindy Terasawa (Designer Digitals), Pink Petticoat Solid Olive.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Copics.
Embellishments: Embroidery thread, brads from stash, Nestabilities, computer generated sentiment applied with Safmat.

Right, I'm off to enjoy my last day of freedom before I'm back with nagging students and academic staff who don't want to conform!

Whiff of Joy Challenge #25

Phew, what a busy couple of days! Ali has promised me that today will be more relaxing with far less running around and entertaining! After today, I only have tomorrow and then I'm back to work. That 8 days has really flown unfortunately.

Below is one of the cards I made the other day and it is for the sketch this week over on the Whiff of Joy challenge blog.

The jury is still out on this one I'm afraid. I totally adore the papers and the image is super cute. However, it's a bit of a busy card so I am not 100% sure that I like it... One minute I do, next I don't....!

Goodie List........
Stamps: Whiff of Joy - Molly Celebrating Sheep.
Digital Paper: Cupcake Princess by Andrea Victoria from Designer Digitals.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Copics.
Embellishments: Computer generated sentiment applied with Safmat, Nesties, Hobbycraft border punch, ribbon from stash.

Fingers crossed I get some crafting time today, I'm feeling in the need of some relaxation before I go back to the insane mayhem that is work!

Thanks for visiting me today!

P.S. You must check out the Dies to Die For store. Tracy has just listed some Nestabilities in the 'Tools' section for the bargain price of £15 per set! What a steal?! They are selling fast so if you want some, you had better get yourselves over there pronto! ~♥~ Pin It
