Hey, Hey!

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying this amazing weather. I'm absolutely loving finally having a garden to play in - love the new house! Never thought I'd enjoy pottering in the garden, but I actually do... It's a miracle. I've even planted up some seeds in my new propagator so that I get my herb garden started - can't wait for them to grow :o).

Well, when I haven't been pottering, I've been crafting. Here is a little something I created during the week - hoping you like it...

Isn't this Mo image fab?! Love the whole series of these, they're just such a joy to colour. I've captured a few challenges here too...

My Mums Craft Shop - Digi Images.
Papertake - Bingo (Die Cuts, Free, Glitter).
Mo's Challenge Blog - Bling it On.

Anyway, it's back to work tomorrow so I'm going to skidaddle so that I can squeeze in more fun before bedtime!

Thanks for dropping by,

Simon Says Stamp

Howdy folks. I realised at the weekend that the only cards I've been posting are challenge DT ones, so this week I am going to try and sort that out. So.... (she says holding her breath!), I am going to try and post every day this week and join in a few more fun challenges ☺. Wish me luck!

Kicking things off, I thought I'd share the card that I made for my Mum's birthday. As the theme this week at Simon Says Stamp is 'Animal Antics', I think this little bad boy works perfectly! It may seem a strange card to give your Mum for her birthday, but she is desperate for a Chihuahua and is actually on the waiting list with the Chihuahua rescue people. Fingers crossed she gets her pup before Christmas as she is totally desperate for one!

Goodie List........
Stamps: 'Spike' - It's All in the Accessories by Mo Manning.
Paper: Basic Grey - Urban Prairie
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools & Embellishments: Gems from stash.

Right, that's it from me for today - see you tomorrow!

Stamp Something.... For Emily :o)

Hello my lovely chums, hope you are all happy that it is the weekend at last. I had the day off (again!) and so spent it with my friend Christie and her little girl Emily who turned a big fat one today! Can't believe she is a year old already. It really does make you realise just how quick time goes by, doesn't it? Anyway, I thought today that it would be appropriate to share the card that I made for Emily's birthday with you.

I spotted this image over at Mo's Digital Pencil a couple of weeks ago and I've had my eye on it for Emily ever since. I've also managed to squeeze in a little challenge too. The task over at Stamp Something this week is to use your favourite colours and/or papers. Well, turquoise is my favourite colour and MME Bloom and Grow are my (current) favourite papers so I think this one fits the bill perfectly!

Goodie List........
Digi Stamp: 1st Birthday Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Paper: MME 'Bloom & Grow', from Dies to Die For.
Cardstock: Bazzill - 'Malachite'.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Embellishments: Ribbon and button from stash.

Hey-ho, thats all from me today. I think I had better go now to clean up the crafty mess in the lounge before Ali gets in from training. He rather diplomatically pointed out earlier that it had all taken over rather! Whoops!
