5000+ Hit - 'Bling' ing Beautiful Challenge

As many of you already know, Vicki over at Paperlicious Oasis is holding a 'Bling' ing Beautiful Challenge to celebrate 5000+ hits to her blog. The rules of the game are that you are allowed to make any style of card that you want, BUT it must have bling!

After several overly jazzy efforts, I settled for this very simple card. I'm a little worried that it is slightly lacking in the required bling but as someone very wise once said......less is more dah-ling!

P.S. Please please please can someone let me in on the secret of how you take decent photographs of cards. I followed the daylight rule but still....... it's not this colour in real life! ~x~ Pin It

oooohhhh!!!! loving it Stacey. Less is definately more. Thank you so very much for joining in, I think your card is gorgeous and I will add it to the list. Good luck. I'm hopeless at taking pics, but if you have your camera set on the Macro setting, (the button with the flower) it gives a crisper pic when you zoom in. xx vicki xx

Cute card. I use something called Irfanview to crop and edit my pictures. Google it - it's free.

Forgot to add about taking photos.
Try and get an angle poised lamp with a daylight bulb in.
I saw this tip somewhere on a blog but can;t remember where but alot of people use them for taking there photos.

Hi Stacey...I think the others gave the best tips for your cards..I tend to stand my card on top of A4 piece of card and position another piece at the back of the card.. Directly opposite to my window so the light reflects from the back of the card:)sometimes I find taking photos on a side angle gives a better result...
Hope you understood that!!!
Mind you I`m not the best at taking piccies..lol...
Anyhows your card looks fine to me...hope this helps some:)

Lovely card. I take my photo's the same way Terrie mentioned. I try to use natural daylight as it gives truer colours.
