I dug out an old cupcake stamp and coloured it with Whispers and Stardust pens. I then matted this on to some pink card stock. As I won't be getting my Cuttlebug (& Nesties!) til my birthday (2nd July - not long to go!), I handmade my scalloped shape using a 5p! Quite effective don't you think?! This then got layered on 3D pads onto some freebie Epson papers. I doodled some black and white checkered borders, added a scalloped 'footer' and some black ribbon.
I was so much happier working in this style and it felt far more natural and altogether more 'me'. Hope you all like it as much as I do!

Gorgeous bright card!...glad you feel happier with this one. I know what you mean about being in your comfort zone. Some cards just come together really easy but some I struggle with. x

This is fab! I love all the doodling.
With your Whispers pens question, I colour directly onto the image then drag it out using either a Whipsers blender pen or a waterbrush, if it doesn't drag out enough, I use the acrylic block technique. I only really works on watercolour card, the pigment sinks in to much on normal card I find, hope that helps!
I've tagged you by the way, check out my blog! :)
