Roses on Paper - One for the Boys!

Well, I'm back and what a weekend?! We had a great time but we came home to a few wildlife problems which had to be tackled, namely a dead baby magpie, fish euthanasia and an ant infestation..... It wasn't the best arrival home we have ever had, I can tell you! Luckily we have today to recover!

Anyway, I would like to share a card I made the other day for my colleague at work. The brief was, "8 year old boy who likes the army". Well, what better image to use than this little 'Hero' from The Greeting Farm?! I actually received this image as part of a recent image swap, however, I know that they are in stock at Dies to Dies For at the moment.

This is also my entry in to the 12th Rose on Paper challenge - One for the Boys! This is the kind of theme I normally run and hide from but I'm dead chuffed I actually have something to enter this time! BTW, you can't see it from this pic but I actually cut my little Hero out and mounted him with silicon glue for an added bit of definition.

Goodie List........
Stamps:
'Hero' by The Greeting Farm, from Dies to Die For.
Digital Paper: Camo Boys, Core'dinations cardstock.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Copics.
Tools & Embellishments: Nestabilities Labels 1 (with matting layer cut down), Card Candy.

Apologies if you have sent me an email over the last couple of days, I promise I will answer soon! I came back after 2 days away to discover 89 emails in my inbox! ARGH! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend sunshine and that your tan/burn lines aren't as weird as mine!

P.S. Does anybody watch Dirty Sexy Money?! I'm totally addicted and utterly devastated to hear that it has been cancelled! Boo hoo sob sob! ~♥~

I guess it's not funnyreally, but your wildlife disasters made me laugh - I thought it was only ME that had such disasters. Kinda reassuring to know it isn't ;)
