High Hopes Challenge #34

Yippee! I finally made a card that I'm happy with! You know, I love that great feeling you get when it just 'works'! I also managed to take part in this weeks High Hopes Challenge which features a fabulous sketch by Nikki. Such a fab sketch too, this one is definately a keeper!

Isn't this image utterly adorable?! It was part of my winnings from a previous High Hopes challenge and I thought it was a perfect match for this fab paper. If you want to get your hands on this stamp or any other gorgeous High Hopes images, Dies to Die For have a wonderful selection.

Goodie List........
Stamps: High Hopes.
Paper: Cosmo Cricket 'Girl Friday', Bazzill 'Kraft' CS.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Copic markers.
Embellishments: Embroidery thread.

Before I go, I've been meaning to ask you this for a while.... how do you all find the time to create such wonderful things?! What I mean is that life has been hectic with me lately and I haven't had the time (or energy!) to join in all the challenges and stuff that I have wanted to. However, everyone else seems to manage it.......! So, what are your top tips on how to organise and find the time?!

Hey Stacey--GREAT card--love your colouring, papers and the string!! I know this sounds a little boring but I only have time for one challenge per week and because High Hopes Stamps are my favourite that's the one I do...not that I don't have a lot of other stamps (man do I have other stamps!!) but at this season in my life I try to be practical not pressured--besides I need lots of time to blog surf and look at great ideas like yours :)
Blessings,
Sarah

Such a fun card Stacey. I love the ducks and the bright vibrant colours! I love my crafting so much I try to do some every day {unless I'm not in the mood}. I don't have any children, so that makes it easier and to be honest I would rather craft than do housework any day! :-) I am usually in my craft room on an evening when my OH is watching his programmes on TV or sport. Cricket is featuring heavily in our house at the moment! Now I've finished my uni coursework there's a lot more free time for my beloved crafting as well!
Have a great weekend hun!
Hugs, Vicky -x-

This is such a gorge card! I love this stamp and the string too! I dont really have any tips for finding time - if you hear of one I'll be glad to know! I seem to get a week once in a while (like this one) when I can do a card every evening then it won't happen again for ages! Good luck on your mission!

Gorgeous card Stacey. Love that cute stamp, it is adorable. You've asked the question that I've wanted to know the answer to for ages. I'm always envious of how folk manage to get so many wonderful cards and creations done! I never get the chance really unless I'm on holiday or I absolutely need to get a card done for a family birthday. I'm pleased to hear that I'm not the only person who feels like that! Hope all is well with you. Hugs, Lainy xxx

Fab card & such a cute image. Loving the papers too.

As for time . . there simply isn't enough of it. I have become strict with myself and just join in the challenges I love each week & this takes some of the pressure away. If I do get more time (!), I then jin in other challenges.
