Sew, Sew, Sew....

Blimey, I must be one half of the saddest couple on the planet. Do you know how we have spent our Saturday night? Googling bird sounds to try and work out what the hell the terradactyl that wakes us up at 3am every morning actually is. Turns out, it sounds a lot like an owl. Only, a really loud screechy one. That sounds a lot like you'd expect a terradactyl to sound. Anyhow, (or should I say, 'anyhooo'?!), on to today's card.....

Isn't this image the cutest?! He is a proud part of my precious heap of Whimsy stamps and also makes up my entry for this weeks challenge over at the Whimsy Challenge Blog - 'Sew, Sew, Sew'. I'd really love a little sewing machine but don't really have anywhere to put it. So, for now, I will have to make do with faux stitches I guess. BTW, you can't really tell from the rubbish picture but I sponged the background with chalk ink to add a bit of sky. It looks lovely IRL, I promise!

Goodie List........
Stamps:
Whimsy Duck
Digital Paper: Urban Clover by Peppermint Creative.
Ink & Colour: Memento (Tuxedo Black) & Copic markers.
Tools: Nestabilities.
Embellishments: Craftwork Cards Sentiment, ribbon & button from stash.

Whilst we are on the subject of Whimsy stamps, have you checked out the new Pet Collection bundle? It is currently available to pre-order here. You get 3 large character stamps and a set of sentiment stamps that work perfectly with them. And all for a fabulous price. What more could you ask for?! Get over there quick to check it out.
Thanks for listening to me ramble, hope I haven't bored you to death! See you tomorrow, ready for the new Anyone for Anya challenge!

Ha ha! Rock and roll lifestyle huh?! I can't really say anything, I went to my mum and dads and watched TV!!
Your card is fab! I love the cute stamp you've used and the colours look great!
In answer to your stamp storage question, I stamp all the images onto a piece of card, laminate it, stick the stamps to the back and store them in the spotty folders, I'll take a piccy and post it soon.
I hope you're having a lovely sunday!

This is gorgeous Stacey, I love the papers you have used and what a fun image !

Are you sure its an owl and not a fox ? Funny enough, they make the most terrible squalking sound, like the ones you hear in horror movies !

Whatever it is, hope it goes away soon.

Hugs,

Jo x
